New manager Ruben Amorim has failed to stop the rot, with his troops losing a whopping FIVE matches last month.
United ended 2024 with a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Newcastle and were booed after the final whistle. And Diallo - who has been a shining light in a torrid season - took to social media to send a message to the frustrated Old Trafford faithful. Along with an image of himself looking dejected, the Ivorian winger wrote on X: "A very difficult year, apologizing is not enough.
"But you have supported us and continued to do so throughout all this time. Thank you.". Diallo, who scored a sensational stoppage-time winner in the Manchester Derby, received a slew of positive messages from United fans. One commented: "You’re the only reason we still watch the games.".
