Junior Manchester United star Amad Diallo has apologised to fans in a heartbroken social media post after a 'very difficult year' for the club. Many supporters would argue that Diallo, 22, has been one of the few bright sparks in a torrid season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists. He has been a regular starter under Ruben Amorim and already carved a place for himself in the club's folklore after scoring a sublime 90th-minute winner against Manchester City. However, the youngster has taken it upon himself to apologise for a year which has seen United tumble to 14th in the Premier League - after finishing a record-low eighth last season.
