If you've been thinking about buying a broadband-connected TV, then now could be a good time to go online shopping. Argos has just announced the launch of a number of deals that offer big discounts on Freely-powered televisions. For those not in the know, Freely is a relatively new UK service that lets you tune into live and on-demand content without needing an aerial stuck to your chimney. The platform is very similar to Sky Glass, which also uses the web to broadcast shows and sports on the big screen.

SEE THE FREELY DEALS HERE. The one big difference with Freely is - once you have purchased the TV - there are no subscription fees to pay. Prices are currently starting from just £230 and the offers - which include money off Bush, Hinsense and Toshiba screens - are clearly proving popular with Argos confirming that they are "in-demand" and "selling fast". HERE ARE ALL THE ARGOS FREELY DEALS. BUSH 50-INCH SMART 4K TV NOW: £230 - SAVE £39 SEE THE DEAL HERE.

BUSH 55-INCH SMART 4K TV NOW: £280 - SAVE £19 SEE THE DEAL HERE. BUSH 58-INCH SMART 4K TV NOW: £299 - SAVE £20 SEE THE DEAL HERE. HISENSE 65-INCH SMART 4K TV NOW: £296 - SAVE 10% WITH HISENSE10 CODE SEE THE DEAL HERE. TOSHIBA 65-INCH SMART 4K TV NOW: £379 - LOWEST ARGOS PRICE SEE THE DEAL HERE. As you might expect, Freely can't match Sky for features and channels with it not offering premium sports, entertainment or movie content. Freely does offer a full TV guide and recommendations but Sky Glass takes things up a notch by making things more personalised along with having a Playlists feature where you can store content to watch at a later date.

Sky is currently running a sale on Glass, with prices starting from£27 per month. That deal even offers full Netflix and Discovery+ access. YOU CAN SEE THE SKY GLASS DEALS HERE. One final thing to note is that Sky is holding a major event next week where it promising to launch something "Smarter, brighter and better". This could be an update to its Sky Q box, a refresh to Sky Stream or maybe a brand new Sky Glass TV.
