Arsenal outcast 'is in talks to join European giants' - with the Gunners 'open to a loan deal with an obligation to buy'

Arsenal could be set to offload one of their out-of-favour players to a fellow European giant, according to reports. The Gunners are looking to revamp their squad, with Mail Sport revealing earlier today that Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi is set to join the club this summer.
Mikel Arteta is also exploring attacking options after Gabriel Jesus suffered a serious knee injury in Arsenal's penalty shootout defeat by Manchester United on Sunday. But outgoings are also a possibility in the coming days, and Sky Germany are reporting that Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing full back Oleksandr Zinchenko this month.
According to Sky Germany, concrete talks between the relevant parties have already taken place. Zinchenko is keen to leave, and Arsenal are understood to be willing to let him go out on loan for the rest of the season. Oleksandr Zinchenko (right) is reportedly in talks to join Borussia Dortmund.
Zinchenko has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta this season. The emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly (pictured) has limited Zinchenko's playing time, and he now wants to leave Arsenal. The Premier League club would want any deal to include an obligation to buy, and they rate Zinchenko at around €20m (£17m).
Zinchenko arrived at the Emirates from Manchester City in a deal worth £32m back in July 2022. The 28-year-old was a regular in his first two seasons, making 27 top-flight appearances in both campaigns. But he has struggled for game time this term, having featured in only seven Premier League games to date.
