Wanted: reinforcements. That's the sign Mikel Arteta will be putting up outside London Colney if Arsenal don't make bring in some new players soon. The Gunners' squad is getting thinner as their Premier League title chances get slimmer, as shown in Saturday's frustrating 2-2 draw at home to Aston Villa which saw them squander a two-goal lead.

A striker is top of Arsenal's wish-list, with Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres continually linked. Arsenal will need to get it right, having fallen six points behind pace-setters Liverpool, who also have one game in hand. Here's a round-up of the latest transfer news from the Emirates.

Arsenal are considering making a £70million bid for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. The Sun report that Sesko, 21, is expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit this summer, although Arsenal are weighing up an offer which, if accepted, would bring the Slovenia international to the Emirates this month.

Sesko was a target for Arsenal in the summer but the Gunners missed out, as the striker signed a new long-term contract with Leipzig. His new deal removed the much talked-about £55m release clause which multiple Premier League clubs were rumoured to have triggered.

Is Benjamin Sesko worth £70million to Arsenal? Have your say in the comments section. Real Madrid reportedly plan to make a move for William Saliba this summer. The reigning Spanish and European champions have long been linked with a move for Saliba and Foot Mercato claim that the wheels at the Bernabeu are turning.
