A statement on their website reads: ‘Brands that migrate will benefit from increased traffic and access to customers, as well as enhanced site functionality such as Buy the Look, which enables customers to buy entire outfits from multiple sellers in one click.’.
An ASOS spokesperson confirmed to Metro that ‘the Marketplace site is being shut down’, but added that ‘not all sellers are migrating’.
And now, ASOS has announced that they’re shutting down the Marketplace section of the website, which features vintage items and collections from independent clothing brands.
