Kazal Ahmed and his wife Eleena featured on last night's episode of George Clarke's Building Home on Channel 4, showcasing their journey to renovate a £850,000 property in Solihull, near Birmingham.
Kazal and Eleena had transformed the 'ugly duckling' home into a gleaming yet elegant property with an impressive extension and immaculate finish with new rendering and painted windows.
Kazal and Eleena hoped to double their current floor space - much of which would be taken up by an enormous 9 x 7-metre kitchen extension.
In addition, they'd built a smaller 'spice kitchen' where Eleena could do the majority of the cooking, keeping a tidy space in the main kitchen for entertaining purposes.
This is the awkward moment a couple realised their grand plans for an enormous extension actually protruded into their neighbour's garden - and work had already begun.
