Barcelona are reportedly confident that they can register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor after coming up with a solution to their financial block. Barca's bid to register the pair for the second half of the season was rejected by LaLiga after they failed to prove they had the necessary financial assurances in time.
Olmo, a Euro 2024 winner with Spain, only joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in the summer in a £50m deal. However, he could only be registered on a temporary arrangement until the end of 2024 owing to LaLiga's ongoing financial constraints on Barcelona.
The Catalan giants had been trying to re-register him and forward Victor so that they could play beyond December 31, but LaLiga rebuffed their request. Barca intend to plough on with their attempts to register the duo and LaLiga have reportedly been threatened by legal action by several clubs if they approved the move, according to SPORT.
Barcelona believe that selling VIP boxes in their soon-to-be renovated Camp Nou will provide them with extra income - around £83million - to be allowed to register the stars, SPORT reports. Barcelona are reportedly confident that they can register Dani Olmo if they sell VIP seats as their soon-to-be refurbished Camp Nou stadium.
