BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty mocks Charlie Stayt after on-air blunder During Friday's edition of BBC Breakfast, presenter Charlie Stayt made a forgivable slip-up.
Recognising the humorous aspect but also the impracticality, Naga pointed out the slight snag in interviewing dogs directly, as they wouldn't be able to answer back, adding: "No, I don't think it would be the best interview to watch.".
In the midst of informing viewers about the over one thousand visually impaired individuals awaiting guide dogs, the show featured a previously recorded segment with journalist Phil Mackie discussing the pressing need for volunteer puppy raisers.
To which Charlie responded: "It's worth saying a little later on this morning, at 8:40, we'll be talking to guide dogs themselves-".
Naga ribbed him for the error, jesting: "I was going to say good luck if you're going to have a conversation with a guide dog!"
