Her brother Peter Phillips also braved the rain on to attend with his partner Harriet Sperling. The siblings were spotted sheltering from the rain at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire as they started the new year on a high with a day of horse racing.

Zara, 43, who is an Olympic equestrian herself, arrived at the historic racecourse holding the hand of her youngest son Lucas, three. Dressed in a navy pinstripe suit with a burgundy turtleneck jumper layered underneath it for warmth, Zara looked regal even as she braved the adverse weather conditions.

She and her husband Mike, 46, who donned a brown suit jacket paired with a matching burgundy tie, stopped to pose for the cameras. In a sweet moment, the former rugby star lovingly planted a kiss on Zara's cheek.
