Celebrity Bear Hunt has officially landed on Netflix and now fans have a brand new competition series to get obsessed with. The premise of the show sees 12 famous faces get dropped into the Costa Rican jungle and hunted down by Bear Grylls. As they take on various challenges, the losers will have to face the dreaded Bear Pit, where they endure a cat a mouse chase with the man himself before one person is eliminated from the show.

The show features Holly Willoughby as the host as she guides the celebrities through all of the scary challenges. Speaking at the official premiere at Leicester Square in London last night (February 4), Bear took the opportunity to praise his co-star Holly. He expressed: "I just want to say as well to Holly, you were such a key part of this, not just for them but for me also. You were a light and love to all of these people.".

As she thanked him for his kind words, she reciprocated the praise and took the opportunity to also thank the real-life action man. The Dancing on Ice host divulged: "As soon as you've got Bear's name attached to anything, you know you're in for an adventure of a lifetime. This show really does have a little bit of everything. "You 12 celebs that were involved in this, you said yes and it was the beginning of a real adventure for you all.

"You were so brave and I think it's because of you, you can get anyone to do anything, you're inspiring," she said directly to Bear. The show was filmed last year in the Costa Rican jungle in Central America, with the celebrities having to brave the weather and all of the scary aspects of the jungle from animals to bugs. The 12 stars were also tasked with living together in a house not far from the jungle, meaning spending 24 hours a day together would no doubt cause clashes and arguments.

The celebrities that are part of the series are Spice Girl's Mel B, tennis legend Boris Becker, interior design expert Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, journalist Steph McGovern and former rugby player Danny Cipriani. Also hoping to win are Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, rapper Big Zuu, The Saturdays star Una Healy and The Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas. Rounding out the line-up are model Lottie Moss, actor Kola Bokinni and fashion model Leomie Anderson, while Holly Willoughby is presenting the epic show.
