Fans of The Masked Singer are convinced they've finally worked out who's behind Bear's masks after weeks of constant speculation. Huge names have already been unveiled behind some of the whacky costumes, including Kate Garraway, Prue Leith and Mel Giedroyc have been unmasked, with another set to join them tonight. Bear may be in trouble after being in the head-to-head battle with Teeth last week. Although they were heard putting up a fight against the other six remaining celebs.

Performing on Saturday 1 February along Bear were Wolf, Dressed Crab, Kingfisher, Pufferfish, Snail and Bush. Fans have their suspicions about the remaining characters after weeks of watching and fans think they've finally 'worked out' Bear's identity. This week Bear took to the stage and wowed judges. As well as this, they revealed new clues about their identity as they hinted towards the stage once again, and said the sky is the limit. They also wrote down a number of dances on a list, as Mo thought they were hinting towards Strictly Come Dancing.

Now fans are convinced they know who's behind the mask. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter on Saturday night, one fan penned: "Bear is definitely Example," while another posted a picture of the singer along with the words: "Elliot John Gleave (Example) for Bear". Mo and Maya Jama certainly agreed after the "EG" initials, and the chicken reference a hint to his Nandos song with Ed Sheeran. Previous clues hinted Bear was a stage performer, and some are guessing there's a link to Shakespeare in there. "Will it be comedy? Funny you should ask! Tragedy? Well, I've done more than just watch the Scottish play," the character said during one of the clues. As well as this, Bear entered the competition wearing period clothing, and holding his arms up like a performer.

This week though, a former EastEnders star had fans convinced he was behind the mask after a 'slip up' during a live ITV interview. The interviewer asked Richard Blackwood the question that was on everyone's lips. "Just quickly, before we finish, are you doing The Masked Singer? Because you’re getting loads of attention about it this week. Can you exclusively reveal it to us?” the presenter asked.

"I could… because you made me feel so good and stuff," he began, looking flustered. "No, I can’t, I can’t. But the moves and the way I… I mean, that’s how I would do it.” Fans were convinced all clues pointed to Richard, however, fans will have to wait until the character is unmasked to see who's really behind the mask...
