Radio station 2DAY FM is in the midst of a major shakeup. Emma Chow, co-host of the Mike E & Emma Show, announced on Tuesday that she was departing the duo's weekend breakfast slot, which airs in Sydney. She has shared the show alongside Michael Etheridge for over a decade.
'After almost 14 years, the Mike E & Emma journey has come to an end', she said in a social media post. 'We were babies when we first started at The Edge, and I am so incredibly grateful for and proud of every single second of radio we did together' she continued.
'Most of all, thank YOU for listening to and growing up with us. Radio station 2DAY FM is in the midst of a major shakeup. Emma Chow, co-host of the Mike E & Emma Show, announced on Tuesday that she was departing the duo's weekend breakfast slot, which airs in Sydney. Both picture.
'Though you'll see us doing our own thing from now on, we are still great mates and only wish each other the best. 2025 is a new chapter.'. The show began on ARN in 2011 before shifting over to 2DAY FM in 2021. Chow could be moving to join Jimmy Smith and Nath Roye on the weekday breakfast slot, the Daily Telegraph reports that, but the station has not commented on the rumour as yet.
It comes after another beloved radio duo announced a major update to their breakfast slot. Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson have surprised fans with a very unlikely change to their popular show. The Kyle and Jackie O Show is known for its trademark crude and explicit humour but the co-hosts have now promised to tone down their antics.
