Black Ops 6 is about to get a lot bigger with the arrival of Season 2, delivering a heap of new maps, weapons, modes and features to reinvigorate the game, and it's most popular modes. Call of Duty, though it has lost a little goodwill with unresolved bugs over its first season of the Black Ops 6 era, both the mainline title and Warzone still have a lot of users in tow. The content offered by the game so far has kept players engaged massively, with a hefty Battle Pass, a major Squid Game event, and the arrival of the Citadelle Des Morts Zombies map have been great news for fans of the series’ Multiplayer and round-based Zombies experiences. As players keep playing in search of their favourite camos and Calling Cards, it’s safe to say that Treyarch has done a good job maintaining this year’s Call of Duty title.
It’s time for pastures new, though, as both the mainline game and its Battle Royale spinoff step into Season 2, delivering all-new maps, modes, weapons and scorestreaks for players to get stuck into, as well as the swift arrival of the new Zombies map The Tomb, taking players to an ancient dig site littered with buried secrets and the omniscient spirit of a 1900s British explorer. It’s a lot to take in, and thankfully, we’ve got plenty of time to enjoy it.
Lots of content has touched down, but in regards to Warzone, as revealed by Treyarch in the blog post that announced Season 2, the team has turned to resolving ongoing bugs and focusing on tweaking overall gameplay in the mode, over adding more content for players, with some new features expected to arrive in Season 2 being pushed to the next one. “Our priority is having the most solid foundation that Battle Royale can offer and are excited for players to see it all live,” the team has said in the blog post.
