Amid their public fallout, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s texts have been released which shows they exchanged playful messages at 2am. The actors starred together in film It Ends With Us, which was released last summer, yet have been locked in a legal battle since Blake initiated a lawsuit over Justin's conduct. Blake has accused her co-star of sexual harassment and alleges a targeted PR campaign aimed at tarnishing her reputation post-film collaboration.

Justin has since countersued Blake and her actor husband Ryan Reynolds for $400 million, alleging an attempt to "destroy" his good name and career. As they battle publicly, messages exchanged between the two stars have since emerged. Justin's lawyers have laid out a timeline from January 2019 to January 2024, including 168 pages of emails, text messages and WhatsApps, mostly between him and Blake. In one message exchange on May 11, 2023, at 2.46am, when production had started, Blake said: "It's such a good feeling to get work done that we're proud of. And to do it together." She added: "It just clicks when we find it. And that's just as rewarding as filming it. I'm really proud of what we're doing." Blake added a red love-heart emoji to her message.

In response, Justin said: "I like sentimental Blake." She playfully texted back: "Never met her." He said: "I also like a**hole Blake, OK goodnight." To which she responded: "I've met her. So have my suppositories. Good night!," followed by a laughing emoji. A month earlier, Blake sent Justin a text ahead of shooting the film. She said: "You're absolutely the best. And what you did inspired me. I love what we're gonna do." Blake later added: "If you knew me [in person] longer you'd have a sense of how flirty and yummy and ball busting [the sex scenes] would play. It's my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth.".

The exchange was allegedly regarding a raunchy scene in the film, with Blake said to have repeatedly called herself a "ballbuster". Other texts include an alleged message on Valentine's Day in 2023 as Blake is said to have promised Justin he is "safe" with her. The message reads: "You're safe here" and he replied with a heart emoji after it's alleged he had suggested he should apologise for an "excited" comment.

Another alleged chat days later showed Justin shrugging off any claims that Blake, who had just had son Olin and was concerned about her physique for the intimate scenes, wouldn't look "amazing". She asked: "What's the chance we can do body scenes at the end of the schedule?". Justin responded that he isn't able to fix the schedule yet but told her: "I want you to know you will look amazing. Anything you are insecure about we will talk through and get creative together and make you comfortable. I just don't want you to stress about your body. It's the last thing you need.".

In April 2023, Justin told Lively that he had hired an intimacy coordinator and that they could meet “next week.” He said that he loved her and would 'set you up' for an introduction. Blake replied: "I feel good. I can meet her when we start. Thank you though.". Like this story?
