In the latest twist of the It Ends With Us legal saga, alleged texts batted back and forth between stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Blake, 37, and Justin, 41, reportedly had a very contentious time working together on the Hollywood movie, which was released back in August to mixed reviews. Despite rumours of the duo’s issues on set emerging before the film was even released, however, text messages suggest things weren’t all bad between them.
The texts have been included in both actor’s legal filings, with Justin’s lawyers claiming that he and Blake “grew close” and texted frequently, describing how they “shared stories and pictures from their lives, commiserated over family illnesses and exchanged jokes and memes.”.
In texts obtained by the Daily Mail, the duo reportedly gushed over one another and praised the work they were doing, while also seeming to allude to their own flaws. In one conversation, Blake allegedly responded to a message from Justin by saying: “I feel the same. It's suh a good feeling to get work done that we're proud of. And to do it together. It just clicks when we find it.
“And that’s just as rewarding as filming it. Or editing it. Or marketing it. Or releasing it. This is all storytelling. This is why we do it.” She then followed up: “Thank you for your collaboration. I’m really proud of what we’re doing.". “I like sentimental Blake,” Justin replied, with Blake joking back: “Never met her.” Justin then allegedly texted: “I also like a**hole Blake… don't worry.” Blake seemed to accept the quip, and sent back: “'I've met her. So have my suppositories.”.
