Text messages alleged to have been sent by Blake Lively to her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni see the actress describe herself as "flirty" and a "ballbuster.". The duo starred appeared together in 2024 movie adaption of Coleen Hoover's domestic abuse novel, which was a hit with critics and the box office last year. However, since the film's release the pair have been locked in a bitter legal dispute. Blake launched a lawsuit as she made complaints about Justin's behaviour on set - she accused him of sexual harassment and alleged there was a concerted effort by his PR team to destroy her reputation.

Her filing was met by a counter-filing by her former co-star Justin who is attempting to sue Blake and her husband Ryan for a staggering £321 million, accusing the power couple of trying to "destroy" his reputation and career. This week it was claimed Blake and Ryan's lawyers have filed a notice to state that they will seek to dismiss Justin's lawsuit. This is in line with Judge Lewis Linman's court order, which outlined how the case will go ahead.

In another twist, alleged text messags sent from Blake to her co-star have been shared. Justin's team have set up a website in which communication between the actor and director's apparent contact have been shared. One from Blake is alleged to have read: "It's my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth". The exchange was reportedly regarding a raunchy scene in the film, with Blake said to have repeatedly called herself a 'ballbuster'.

Another alleged chat showed Justin shrugging off any claims that Blake won't look "amazing" in the scenes before she is said to have requested the filming to be shifted to the end of the shoot. The Mail is said to have obtained the texts, which are thought to make up part of Justin's legal team's defence. The contact is said to have taken place between January 2019 and January 2024 and consists of 168 pages of emails, text messages and WhatsApp conversations. The majority of the communication is claimed to be between Justin and Blake, but there are also sections which he interacts with the Wrexham AFC owner.

In one, Ryan is said to have told Justin he "adores" him and apparently admits he and his wife are "big fans". In another, Blake is said to have called Justin "the best" while discussing a romantic scene in the film. Other texts include an alleged text on Valentine's Day in 2023 as Blake is said to have promised Justin he is "safe" with her. The message reportedly reads: "You're safe here' and he replied with a heart emoji after it's alleged he had suggested he should apologise for an "excited" comment.

Days later, a claimed response sees Blake, who has just had son Olin, share her concern about her physique for intimate scenes. She is said to ask: "What's the chance we can do body scenes at the end of the schedule?". It's said Justin said he couldn't change the schedule, but tried to reassure her by saying: "'I want you to know you will look amazing. Anything you are insecure about we will talk through and get creative together and make you comfortable. I just don't want you to stress about your body. It's the last thing you need.".

By May the same year, it's thought Blake had called herself a ballbuster, but said it's only because it "means a lot to me". "You were terrific. I'm proud of everything we did today, but really every day," she is said to have text him following a day of filming. It's also claimed that Blake was sent a matcha machine for her birthday in the same year, and while a response came six days later, she thanked him and showed no sign of tension.

The apparent text reveal comes after Blake accused Justin of sexual harassment and a concerted effort by PRs to destroy her reputation following their work together on the romance film. He then sued Blake and her husband Ryan for £321 million for an apparent attempt to "destroy" his reputation and career. Now, it's claimed Blake and Ryan's lawyers have filed a notice to state that they will seek to dismiss Justin's lawsuit. This is in line with Judge Lewis Linman's court order, which outlined how the case will go ahead.
