BREAKING: Body found 'near sewer outlet' in search for missing woman who vanished in Cornwall The search for a missing woman in Cornwall has ended in tragedy with the discovery of a body near a sewage outlet.
In a statement, the force said: "A body has been located in the search for 44-year-old Colette Marshall who had been reported missing from Perranporth.
Ambulance crews, coastguards and the RNLI were also called to the scene "just off the sewage outlet at Drozskyn" where it was confirmed a body had been found.
The force said on Saturday that there was "nothing to suggest anything untoward happened to the individual" found near the sewage site.
A body was discovered along the coastline in the Perranporth area Saturday 8 February.
