BREAKING: Man falls to his death from high-rise block of flats in east London

A man has died after falling from high-rise block of flats. Emergency services pronounced the man, in his 30s, dead at the scene in in Bromley-by-Bow, east London after police and ambulance were called at 2.21pm on Friday. His family have been made aware and are being supported by police.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police and ambulance colleagues were called at 14:21hrs on Friday, 3 January, to Gillender Street, E3. A man had fallen from height at a block of flats. Sadly, the man – aged in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene. The family of the man have been made aware and police are supporting them.".
Police have launched an investigation and say the incident is not being treated as suspicious at this stage. The block of flats forms part of a large modern complex called Three Waters, located near Bow Creek, the River Lea and Limehouse Cut at Bow Lock.
