Man who died after falling down Tube station escalator 'may have been pushed'

A man who died after falling down an escalator at Waterloo Station may have been pushed, his family have told police. Ian Airlie, 48, was found dead at his home in Greenwich on 10 October last year. He had fallen down the escalator at the station's Jubilee Line almost a month earlier, at 5.05pm on 15 September.
Police believe he spoke to a number of people after the fall, and are now appealing for them to come forward. He spoke to security at the station and relayed that he had fallen into a woman, described as of a South Asian appearance. After getting off the Tube, he is then said to have spoken to a woman on a bus travelling from North Greenwich underground station. She handed him a tissue for the blood above his left eye.

Mr Airlie was wearing a black T-shirt and light grey jogging bottoms. On his back was a turquoise and grey Mountain Warehouse rucksack. He was carrying a medium, black suitcase.
