A 28-year-old tourist named Corey Beavis has tragically passed away following a motorbike accident in Thailand. Described by his heartbroken family as a "genuine person with nothing but love for the people around him.". Corey, a well-known resident in the town of Barry, south Wales, had his life tragically cut short on Saturday, January 4 while on holiday. His family is now facing the daunting task of repatriation and funeral arrangements without the aid of travel or life insurance, which brings significant costs.

In an effort to bring Corey home, his family, including his twin brother Liam, have started a fundraising campaign. His family shared their grief: "On Saturday we received the devastating news our beautiful boy lost his life following a motorcycle accident. Corey lit up any room he walked into with his larger than life character and his infectious laugh.".

They continued, "He had so much left to give this world, but also lived a life 10 times beyond his wildest imagination. He was a real genuine person with nothing but love for the people around him.". Liam spoke to the BBC on Monday, saying Corey "lived his life to the fullest". As a well-known figure in Barry, the fundraising page has already collected almost £13,000 in just over a day, reports Wales Online.
