Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari goes public with new girlfriend 8 months on from divorce

Sam Asghari looks very loved up as he moves on from ex-wife Britney Spears. The actor, 30, took to Instagram to share sweet images alongside his rumoured new girlfriend, Brooke Irvine. It comes eight months after he and Toxic singer Britney finalised their divorce after just 14 months married.
The muscly star wished his followers a Happy New Year as he uploaded the shots of the pair very hands on. In the first image, they stood under a palm tree and gazed at each other. Sam was in an all white outfit, while Brooke matched, with a fitted dress with a thigh-high split.
Another showed them lying together in bathing suits on a tree hanging over the clear ocean. And a third of the duo in matching black attire had them hugging one another. The last two uploads also had the couple embraced in matching outfits as they enjoyed their time together. His followers were quick to praised the post, with his sister among those sharing the love. Sister Maddie simply posted two love heart emojis in response to his post.
It comes just months after Britney appeared to take a cryptic dig at her ex. They reached a divorce settlement in May 2024, keeping the terms of their prenuptial agreement, according to TMZ. "The divorce was amicable and the prenup was not challenged," a source told People. "Britney is continuing to flex her freedom and is moving on. The report that she is in financial distress is false and she is not on any lease for him.".
Britney and Sam began dating back in 2016 after meeting on the set of Britney's music video for her track Slumber Party. After five years, Sam proposed in September 2021 and they tied the knot on June 4, 2022, in a glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles, joined by A-list friends.
