She explained, "When I travel solo, I politely let the gate agent know that I’m travelling alone, and if a family needs to sit together I don’t mind 'moving my seat up towards the front of the plane' or 'in an exit row', so that the families have the ability to sit together.
She said, "My top tip would be not to pick seats on the back row of any section, as these seats either don’t recline or have limited option to recline."
She told HuffPost UK: "You can book seats in the very back of the plane if not in a rush to disembark, as there is a higher chance you will get a full row to yourself.".
This is because back row seats either don't have the option to recline or offer a very limited amount of recline which may not be ideal for long journeys.
Luckily, an experienced flight attendant has revealed the best seats to book if you want to have the best chance of enjoying an entire row to yourself.
