Charlotte Crosby announces birth of second baby after her dad accidentally leaked news

Charlotte Crosby has welcomed her second child with husband Jake Ankers. The former Geordie Shore star, 34, and businessman already share daughter Alba Jean who was born in 2022. The couple announced they were expecting their second child last year in an adorable Instagram post, later revealing they were set to have another daughter. Charlotte’s father Gary inadvertently announced the news after sharing a post with a telling caption on his Instagram page.

He shared several pictures of Alba Jean, including one where she is kissing a pink balloon that reads ‘welcome to the world little sister.’. In the caption, he wrote: ‘What a full filled weekend done in that their London. A new addition to our little family and some very exciting years ahead. Feeling very blessed and happy @charlottegshore @letitia.crosby @jake_ankers.’. Charlotte liked the post, but it came before either she or Jake shared the news themselves, something one fan pointed out in the comment section while flocking to share their congratulations.

‘Loving how you announced baby’s arrival before mummy & daddy… My mum would do that too 😂,’ s.rowan2018 wrote. ‘Congratulations to you all & especially to the very special big sister Alba Jean.’. ‘I went straight to their profile to see no announcement,’ emilymorrall_ replied. Charlotte later announced the news herself on her Instagram page, sharing a sneak peek of the newborn on her Instagram Stories.

The black and white pictures show Jake cradling the youngster, with a message sharing ‘she’s here.’. The post directs fans to the reality TV star’s paid-for newsletter, where she shared more details about the baby’s arrival. Days before she gave birth, Charlotte shared a picture of her growing bump while opening up on the highs and lows of pregnancy. ‘Final days of being pregnant with my second girl 👶🏼🤍,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘In these days I’ve spent so much time thinking about how this could be my last pregnancy! Who knows if we’ll have more children. ‘I wish I had taken more pictures with my bump! But pregnancy with a toddler and life this year in general has just been busy!. ‘So I figured this little snap deserved a place on the grid this morning 😍 9 months of growing my second little girl…….and not a day has gone by where I haven’t absolutely moaned about it, I can’t paint this pretty picture out because It’s been HARD but I’m so very grateful to be here now at the very end ready to meet her! 💕.
