But the former Manchester United star's new gig is a far cry from the world of football and showbusiness. The WAG, 38, revealed at the launch of her Coleen Rooney x Applied Nutrition wellness range that Wayne has been tasked with the school run now that he's returned to the £20million Cheshire family home.

It comes days after it was reported that Wayne is in talks to join Match of the Day as a pundit, starting next season. Gary Lineker will continue to present the men’s FA Cup in 2025-26 and the 2026 World Cup for the BBC. Wayne hopes to join the show, set to be hosted by Kelly Cates, Mark Chapman and Gabby Logan, as a rotating guest pundit and could command up to £200,000 a year for his services, according to The Sun .
