His exit comes as wife Coleen plans a TV career after her successful stint on I’m A Celebrity. Coleen is mulling over a clutch of “very attractive” telly offers while hubby Wayne prepares to take over the reins at home, sources said last night.

The couple are preparing for a sudden reversal of roles after Wayne, 39, left the manager’s seat at struggling Plymouth Argyle yesterday. The Sun understands she is weighing up “four or five” TV deals which could see her sitting alongside the likes of screen stars Holly Willoughby, Lorraine Kelly and Cat Deeley. Coleen, who finished second on I’m A Celeb, said after leaving the jungle that she was looking forward to seeing her boys and Wayne before considering her next move.
