Conor Maynard returned to social media with a plea to his followers over Christmas after ex Charlotte Chilton claimed he is yet to see their newborn daughter. Chilton, 32, a former contestant on Channel 4 show The Traitors, welcomed daughter Penelope in September following a one night stand with Maynard.
But she insists the singer ghosted her on social media after discovering she was pregnant and is yet to express any interest in the child, who is understood to have suffered undisclosed medical issues since her birth. Taking to Instagram in December with his first post in a month, Maynard, 32, admitted he was emotionally struggling and undecided over the option to use prescribed medication.
Reaching out to followers, he wrote: 'Has anyone here ever been prescribed Diazepam, but their anxiety is so bad that they're literally too anxious to actually take it?. 'Please reach out if you've ever been in this position. Can't believe I'm even posting this, but at this point, I'm not sure what else to do.'.
