Coronation Street delivers the drama next week, as confirmed in my new picture spoilers, with a big day in court looming for various characters, an exit on the cards and a devastating collision. Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) trial continues and a particularly tough day is on the cards as she discovers that baby Frankie has been rushed to hospital.
Despite this development, Lauren must remain in court and, worried for her child, she loses her temper and tells the prosecution barrister that she’s glad Joel Deering (Calum Lill) is dead. Regretting her actions, Lauren later heads to the hospital, where Frankie is fighting an infection and she informs Max Turner (Paddy Bever) that she doesn’t care about the trial any more. She just wants Frankie to get better.
But as the jury deliberate, the question is: will she be found guilty or not guilty?. Lauren isn’t the only character in court next week as Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) faces the music for setting Toyah (Georgia Taylor) up. Up Next. After getting soaked by a passing Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), Leanne heads to court, where she receives a community order and afterwards she tells Toyah that she wants nothing more to do with her. Is this really end for the siblings’ relationship?.
