Dancing On Ice has officially returned as a new life-up of celebrities, including soap stars, Olympians, and reality TV favourites, lace up their skates in the quest for the coveted title. The ITV reality show is presented by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern, with skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, and TV personalities Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse forming the judging panel.

Before the celebs took to the ice for the first time, Holly and Stephen paused the show to share a touching tribute to former contestant James Lee Williams, known professionally as The Vivienne, who died on January 5. Former This Morning star Holly said: "Before we move on, like us, many of you have been saddened by the tragedy of The Vivienne’s passing last weekend.

"Now, they were a huge part of the show, making it all the way to the final in 2023 and they’ll be very sorely missed. Our thoughts are with The Vivienne’s loved ones at this sad time. So sad.". Stephen then added: "Absolutely", before continuing with the show and saying: "Ok, tonight’s we’ll see our first six couples take to the ice - the other six couples will perform next week - so let's crack on with the very first celebrity.".

The Vivienne was partnered with pro skater Colin Grafton on the show with the pair finishing in third place. But Dancing on Ice fans didn't full approve of the reality show's tribute, with one person writing on X: "Was that seriously the tribute for The Vivienne they were talking about??.
