Dancing On Ice star Colin Grafton has opened up about the sad passing of his former celebrtity skating partner The Vivienne. The Drag Race UK star, whose real name was James Lee Williams, was confirmed to have died aged 32 at the weekend. Colin competed on Dancing On Ice with The Vivienne in 2023, with the pair forming a close friendship. During a pre-recorded interview on Good Morning Britain, which aired on Friday (10 January), Colin revealed he'd found recent days "difficult" after finding out about the star's death. Speaking to GMB's Richard Arnold, the skater was joined by Mollie Pearce, who he is skating with on this year's series.

Colin admitted: "I'm not going to lie to you, it's been a really tough week. But, Mollie's been by my side and been so lovely through everything.". Speaking about The Vivienne, he added: "I'm just trying to channel what she'd want for me and for the show, and that's to go out there and smash it. So, doing that for her. It's tough, but we're getting through it.".

Dancing On Ice is due to return to TV screens on Sunday 12 January with a new series. The ITV show will air a tribute to late star The Vivienne, on what will be one week since their passing. A source shared the plans, saying: "The Dancing on Ice team has been rocked by the sad news. The Vivienne was a much loved contestant during their time on the show and broke ground by being the first drag artist to compete. There will be a tribute on Sunday's launch, everyone's in agreement that it's only right to pay respects. It's a tragic loss. Everyone working close to the show's thoughts go out to the Vivienne's family and friends.".
