Dancing on Ice's Chelsee Healey recalls nightmare accident after 'fainting' in training

Dancing On Ice star Chelsee Healey has recalled how she fainted after suffering an accident on the ice. Hollyoaks star Chelsee is partnered up with skater Andy Buchanan on the hit ITV show, which returns this weekend. However, as the pair prepared for their ice debut, Chelsee suffered a fall and ended up fainting.
The pair recalled the horror incident, which saw Chelsea slip and land on her coccyx. However, Andy heaped praise on his co-star for managing to get back out on the ice just a day later. Asked if she'd suffered any injuries yet, her skating partner Andy told The Mirror and other press: "Well, we had one fall. She fell right on her tailbone right on her coccyx. You know that shock it will go right through your body and then she fainted.
"That was a bit of a scary one. She was out for just for a minute. I was like look at me, and then there was no looking at me, and then I put her down on the ice and you know, just checked on her. Coming back after that, I have a lot of respect for that.".
Chelsee admitted she remembered Andy waking her up and recalled feeling very dizzy. She explained: "I remember Andy waking me up and going Chelsee Chelsee, and he picked me up and dragged off the ice, you know … I was all dizzy, and then I just went. My confidence was on the floor, so Andy just spent all the session building my confidence up.".
She came back the next day, with her and Andy being supported by physiotherapist Sharon. Andy told us: "We called Sharon, who takes care of us in the show. She’s the most amazing physio, and she kind of walked Chelsee through it a few time and and you know, Chelsee came back the next day and you know gave it her all.".
