She told the Daily Mail: ‘It is intense, and you use body parts that I didn’t even know I had, like I fell on me, coccyx. ‘That taught me a lesson because I fell on my coccyx, and I got up and went all dizzy, and fainted. So that was actually really scary.

‘Andy picked me up and dragged me off the ice. I was all dizzy, and then I just went. But we got through that.’. Disaster has already struck Dancing On Ice with Paralympic grand champion Dame Sarah Storey having to pull out due to an ankle injury sustained during rehearsals.

‘Whilst I can’t wear my left skating boot in time to take to the ice in January, I’m working with the team at ITV to come up with a plan for what’s next. ‘And I’ll always be the biggest cheerleader of the awesome group that is the Class of 2025,’ she wrote in a message to fans in December,’ she wrote in a statement in December.
