Dancing on Ice’s is set to make its grand return to our TV screens tonight with Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern back as hosts. The hit skating competition will once again see skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, alongside TV and dance stars Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse form the judging panel.
As the celebrities continue to practice their routines and get ready for the live show, the pressure is on to avoid facing the skate off. Ahead of the launch show, Steve Redgrave has already been hit with a devastating blow as online bookmaker Betway has named him the star most likely to be voted off the show first.
The retired Olympic rower, 62, who won five gold medals in five consecutive Games, has partnered up with pro-skater Vicky Ogden and he has dubbed the skating pro "fantastic". However it’s not looking good for the pair as he is currently 40/1 to leave the show and stand-up comedian Josh Jones is right next to him priced up at 20/1.
Meanwhile Mollie Pearce is the current favourite to win. The TV personality, who reached the final of last year's The Traitors series, is currently 4/1 to take home the frosty trophy with Love Island star Chris Taylor following closely behind as a 9/2 chance.
Mike Reading, spokesperson at Betway, commented: “Dancing on Ice 2025 already looks to promise an exciting yet nerve-wracking watch as stars take on a new challenge they’ve never faced before and try not to experience a blunder on the ice. “Now the celebrities and professionals are matched up and the training is well underway, we make Mollie Pearce the early favourite to win, despite having a month off the ice due to injury.
