A new series dubbed Erin Brockovich meets Castle is finally streaming in the UK and offers another example of cosy crime for viewers. Crime drama High Potential has just been released on Disney+ with the first seven episodes of the series available now. There will be at least 11 episodes released in total with the remainder streaming in the UK at some point later this year.
The cast includes a number of recognisable faces including a couple sitcom favourites. That is It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olson and Judy Reyes, also known for her role as Carla in Scrubs. Olsen plays Morgan, a single mother with three children who works as a cleaner. She also has an exceptional mind and helps solve an unsolvable crime when she rearranges some evidence during her shift at the police station.
When they discover she has a knack for putting things in order because of her high intellectual potential, she is brought on as a consultant to work with a by-the-book seasoned detective. Together they form an unusual and unstoppable team. One fan posting their thoughts of the series online claimed that the show is "a hilarious and heart warming hidden gem."
