Daniel Dubois was left stunned after Joseph Parker's trainer, Andy Lee, confronted the Brit over his loss to heavyweight star Oleksandr Usyk. 'Triple D' - who has been on an absolute tear as of late - will be looking to successfully defend his IBF heavyweight strap on February 22 when he takes on Parker in what promises to be a mouthwatering encounter. After defeating Filip Hrgovic last June, Dubois shocked the world when he brutally knocked out Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium three months later.

With the Parker showdown just under a month away, both men have traded barbs on a few occasions, and even the trainers are now getting involved. Lee recently referred back to Dubois' defeat to Usyk two years ago, reminding him that he got stopped by a jab, and believes that if 'Triple D' got stopped once in that fashion, he’ll “revert to type” when put in the same situation against his upcoming opponent.

Speaking on the FACE OFF, Lee said: “There is a lot of talk of Daniel fighting Usyk, and you fought him already. In that fight, you went down with a jab. The fight ended off a jab. What was going through your mind at the time? If you’re in the same position with Joe, how are you going to face that?".

The question appeared to leave Dubois red-faced and was left speechless. Refusing to answer the question, Dubois' promoter Frank Warren quickly interjected: “I hear what you’re saying, and it’s a valid point. They’re trying to get under your skin. So, it’s a valid point. I get that and understand, but do you know what? You’ve got to look at the form at the moment.".
