A Deal or No Deal star who walked away with the biggest prize ever has shared a huge bombshell. Fans were left on the edge of their sofas this week when one contestant took home the biggest prize to feature on the ITV show - however, she has since revealed that she's yet to see any trace of her huge fortune. The game show revival, hosted by Stephen Mulhern, sees contestants pick boxes to open, hoping that their own box has a large amount of money in it while receiving offers from the banker.
Monday's episode saw paralegal Nay Nay play a nail-biting game, which left her with just £100,000 and £75,000 in the remaining boxes. After turning down an offer of £82,700 from the banker, Nay Nay opened her box to find the £75,000 - becoming the winner of the highest amount so far on the ITV show. However, Nay Nay has revealed that she's yet to receive the money from ITV. Speaking to Metro, Nay Nay said that she's yet to be paid but has several weeks to plan how she'll spend the whopping jackpot.
"All the emotions came back," she said about watching the episode back. "I started crying again when I was watching it, just because it’s a life-changing amount of money." The jackpot has been downsized since moving from Channel 4 to ITV, with contestants previously being given the chance to win up to £250,000 when Noel Edmonds hosted the show in contrast to the £100,000 up for offer on ITV. However, Nay Nay revealed that she didn't feel disappointed by the smaller amount.
"When I went on the show it was more than just about the money," she said. "For me, it was just about following faith, having a new experience and meeting the people that I would have never met before. I’ve met some friends for life; we’re all going to go on holiday together. "The experience is more than money can buy. The money is just a bonus." Viewers couldn't get enough of Monday's episode, with many calling for the show to "win a BAFTA". One fan wrote on social media: "Whatever happens, she will go down in history as the person to get this far with those two boxes #DealOrNoDeal.".
