WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Death In Paradise. Death In Paradise will once again see another head-scratching murder investigation in full swing but who are the guest stars in the second episode of season 14?. After DI Neville Parker’s (played by Ralf Little) departure last year, former EastEnders actor Don Gilet has joined the ranks as his replacement DI Mervin Wilson. When the BBC cosy crime drama continues, he will be tasked with finding the killer of a game show contestant who is stabbed during filming, “mid-air whilst hurtling down a zipline”.
Among the most recognisable guest stars this week is actor Adam James who will be behind a character called Ricky Mayhew. James has been in a plethora of unforgettable shows like Doctor Foster, The Day Of The Jackal, You, I May Destroy You, Vigil and Mr Bates Vs The Post Office. He also briefly appeared in the hit musical movie Wicked last year as Galinda’s dad, affectionately known as “popsicle”.
Alongside James, actor David Avery will portray Dale Buckingham in the second episode of Death in Paradise season 14. He will be remembered for his work in Hanna, Liaison, Bancroft, Gold Digger and Sky’s Gangs of London as Anthony. Taking on the role of Jonny Feldon is actor Simon Lennon who was Marcus Ruskin in Grantchester, Lord Ambrose in Bridgerton and Brains in BBC’s Our Girl. One of his biggest parts to date was as Ben Tucker in Emmerdale, Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) boyfriend who was murdered by serial killer Meena Jutla ( Paige Sandhu ).
Actress Bhavna Limbachia is best known for her roles as Alia Khan in the BBC sitcom Citizen Khan and Rana Habeeb in the ITV soap Coronation Street. She is listed to portray Chaz Simons in the upcoming episode of Death In paradise. Lisa Bulmer will be played by actress Sofia Oxenham who has featured in several high profile shows since launching her onscreen career in 2019. She was behind Tess Tregidden in BBC’s Poldark, Hannah in Soulmates, Princess Eugenie in A Very Royal Scandal and Carrie in Disney+’s Extraordinary.
Rounding off this week’s guest stars as Brianna Clemeston who accused Mervin of being a killer during the 2024 Christmas special. She is played by actress Joy Richardson who has had roles in Mrs Wilson, Silent Witness, Small Axe and McDonald and Dodds.
