Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson could be in hot water because of a TikTok he shared days before it emerged he tore his Achilles for the second time in three months. On Dec. 26, Watson shared a video of him dancing with his girlfriend, Jilly Anais, on the side of a road and he doesn't appear to be wearing a protective boot.

The 29-year-old had surgery on Oct. 25 after tearing his right Achilles for the first time. And on Friday, it emerged he need a second surgery after tearing it all over again. The Browns didn't specify how he managed to do it, saying only that he rolled his ankle in Miami.

After Achilles surgery, it is usual for people to wear a protective boot for around 10 weeks. While it is unclear precisely when Watson filmed the clip he uploaded on TikTok on December, the upload date of Dec 26 is still less than 10 weeks after surgery.

Vibes With Bae‼️. And he wasn't moving very freely during the 15-second clip, suggesting he was still feeling the impact of the surgery. It doesn't say where the video was filmed but Watson captioned it: 'Vibes with bae!!'. Watson has played 19 times for the Browns since joining them in 2022 on a controversial five-year, fully guaranteed $230million deal.

The Browns said in a statement Watson's recovery time is unclear, other than confirming he is set to miss 'significant time' in the 2025 season. 'MRI results demonstrated a re-rupture to his Achilles tendon,' the franchise said. 'Dr. Bob Anderson, a foot and ankle specialist in Charlotte, NC, performed both surgeries.'.
