WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed that he recently underwent a long overdue knee surgery. The 60-year-old remains one of the company's most iconic stars despite having been forced to retire in 2003 due to multiple knee injuries that affected him in the ring.

During the peak of his powers, Austin's iconic look included a black knee brace which aided issues he picked up from his college football days at North Texas State University. The WWE Hall of Famer suffered an ACL injury in the 1980s but opted against undergoing a surgery due to the strength in his quads and hamstrings at the time.

In October 2024, Austin revealed that he urgently needed a surgery as his knee problems had worsened. Speaking at the time, he said: 'I'm telling you like it is… I need a new left knee here pretty quick'. Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed that he recently underwent a long overdue knee surgery.

A post shared by Steve Austin (@steveaustinbsr). On Tuesday, Austin took to social media to reveal that he is seven weeks post-op - and is already back in the gym as part of his recovery.

He shared photos of X-rays on his knee before and after the surgery via Instagram and wrote: 'How it was. And how it t',. 'I am 7 weeks post op on a Total Knee Replacement. My left knee was on its last leg, and I have been putting this surgery off for years.
