EastEnders' Reiss Colwell's downfall 'sealed' as fans 'spot clue' he'll be caught soon

EastEnders fans are convinced Reiss Colwell is set to be exposed soon – after the latest episode appeared to drop a huge clue. It was another dramatic night in Albert Square as EastEnders fans gear up for the highly anticipated 40th anniversary this month. Bianca Jackson has been held in a storage unit since November by Reiss Colwell, and in Wednesday night's episode, Sonia managed to get her hands on a 'confession video' from Bianca.

In the confession, Bianca 'admitted' to killing Reiss' ex-wife Debbie, but of course fans know this was not the case. Despite Reiss being the actual killer, in a bid for Sonia's freedom from prison and Bianca's own freedom from captivity, Bianca agreed to make a confession tape while being held captive by Reiss. Thursday's episode saw Reiss take another trip to Bianca in the lock-up, informing her that a the CPS issued a warrant for her arrest. After saying she "was too much of a loose thread," he gave her a bottle of pills, suggesting she took them all at once. However, as soon as he left, Bianca threw them against the wall.

During his time in the lock up, the villain removed a dolls house and teddy bears to gift Sonia for their unborn baby. "I bought these for Debbie when we hoped we might.... well maybe they won't go to waste after all," he said. "Sonia and I are making a playroom for the baby." Now, fans suspect this will be the reason behind his downfall, and he's not even noticed, as the dolls house appears in the background of Bianca's confession clip.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Sonia is definitely going to notice either the doll house or the teddy bears in Bianca's video #EastEnders, while another agreed: "Reiss isn’t very smart. All of the toys he is bringing home to Sonia is in Bianca’s “confession” video. Someone will clock on. He will be caught soon. #Eastenders.". One fan found another 'blunder' in the plot, as they commented: "Where is Reiss saying he's going when he's going to Bianca in the lock up? Surely Sonia would be questioning that and getting suspicious? Surely? Nah?" Elsewhere in the episode, the fallout from Ravi and Denise's 'relationship' was aired, ending up in a 'verbal bust up' between Ravi and Jack in the Vic. As the two began to bring up dirt on each other, Denise demanded them to stop. She then screamed that she was "done with both of them" before storming out of the pub.

However, fans know it's not over for one of them, as in a couple of weeks they'll have the opportunity to vote for whether they want Denise to be with Jack or Ravi. The vote will take place ahead of the 40th anniversary live episode that will broadcast on Thursday February 20th, where the public's vote will be revealed. Like this story?
