Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) sunk to yet another new low in EastEnders as he encouraged trapped Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) to take her own life. The twisted killer branded Bianca a ‘loose thread’ as he attempted to cover his tracks for the murder of his wife Debbie, having successfully pinned the blame for the crime on the show legend. Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), who spent months behind bars after being accused of the crime, was determined to see this so-called confession tape of Bianca, in which she allegedly admitted to the murder.

Reiss was apprehensive about such a thing, spinning her a web of lies about how he was no longer in possession of the recording but, after Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) pulled a few strings, Sonia was able to see the footage for herself. The clip left the nurse heartbroken as she branded Bianca a ‘shadow of herself’, coming to believe that her sister was in fact guilty after all. Up Next. The police subsequently paid Sonia a visit to apologise for her incarceration, confirming that an arrest warrant has now been issued for Bianca’s arrest. Believing the nightmare to be almost over, Reiss paid a visit to the lock-up, where he’s been keeping Bianca prisoner since November – and he was taken aback to realise that she was still alive. He handed Bianca a sandwich and later returned with a box of pills, suggesting that she overdose.

Bianca waited until Reiss had left, throwing the box of pills against the door, demonstrating that she has no intention of doing so. But with Reiss now seemingly have cut all ties with Bianca, will she be found before it’s too late? And will Sonia come to realise that Debbie’s real killer has been under her roof all this time?. EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One or stream from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
