Killer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) became even more disturbing after making a twisted move against fiancé Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) in Tuesday’s EastEnders. Walford’s secret smotherer is still desperately covering his tracks after murdering comatose wife Debbie in her care home bed last year.
After being wrongfully accused of the crime, Sonia was found not guilty at a trial last week after her sister Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) ‘confessed’ to killing Debbie. Since her release, Sonia has remained convinced Bianca has lied to help her, unaware that Reiss is currently holding her hostage.

As fans know, Bianca has been chained up in a lock-up ever since she discovered Reiss’ killer secret back in November, and recently recorded herself confessing to murdering Debbie in a bid to secure Sonia’s freedom.
On Monday, Sonia was desperate to watch the video of Bianca’s confession and was later perplexed to discover Reiss had lied to her about no longer having a copy. During the latest visit to Walford, Sonia confronted Reiss about his lies in the café, revealing she knows he is in still in possession of the video.
After scurrying out, Sonia continued her pursuit of the tape back home, but things then took a dark turn. Talking his way out of it, Reiss claimed he believed Bianca’s ‘confession’ and deleted it because it was too ‘painful’ and did not want Sonia to experience that pain too.
