Fans have speculated for months that Emma, 36, had cut her hair for a role after videos surfaced of her appearing to adjust a wig backstage at an event. The Oscar-winner confirmed fans’ suspicions tonight as she arrived at the Golden Globes with drastically shorter hair.

Emma’s auburn locks looked gorgeous after an ultra-short pixie cut that was complete with whispy microbangs. To complement her look, Emma wore a striking red-hot custom Louis Vuitton ballgown with a belt cinching her waist which was detailed with an asymmetrical bow.

She flashed a big smile as she was escorted along the carpet by her husband, Dave McCary. Viewers were blown away by her new look, with one exclaiming: “EMMA STONE SHORT HAIR.
