The Christmas period saw Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) clash with April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was overjoyed to be reunited with Piper the dog again, and there was huge trouble up at Home Farm.

Up Next. A flashforward will kick start 2025 officially, as audience members will be treated to five clips teasing storylines in the new year. But what futures do they hint at?. Marlon’s heart dropped over Christmas when he went up to April’s bedroom, only to find she wasn’t there. With the youngster still missing, Marlon will decide to film an appeal video, but it sadly results in a barrage of hateful comments online.

Eventually though, Marlon puts his foot down and keeps the video. Supported by Rhona (Zoe Henry), Marlon hopes the appeal will help bring April home. ‘He wonders whether she’s been kidnapped again. Obviously your brain goes everywhere. But that’s as much as I can say right now’, Mark Charnock teased.
