Responding, a hesitant Natalie said: "Erm, I think last night, Amy tried to tell Matty, but nobody in the village knows who it belongs to because, as Amy was trying to tell Matty, it was kind of a final words, and she used them up to say, I love you."
Taking to Twitter, formely known as X, one fan penned: "Hopefully Matty remembers what Amy was saying to him," while another echoed: "I hope Matty remembers she was saying Nate and will wonder why…".
However, just before her final breath, Amy regained consciousness and had found the strength to tell husband Matty Barton about the body she saw in the lake.
"When we were doing those final scenes when Kerry and Matty were saying goodbye to Amy, I was just an emotional wreck!".
Speaking to Christine Lampard, stepping in for Lorraine, Natalie opened up on the reveal of Amy's hand being trapped under the ice, which had been teased for weeks.
