Eurovision winner Nemo reschedules tour as they need ‘enough time for new music’ Eurovision Song Contest winner Nemo has rescheduled their European and UK tour with a “heavy heart”, citing a need to make new music.
The Swiss singer, 25, who won the competition in Malmo with the opera-pop song The Code, was to tour the UK in two months time, performing at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London, the Gorilla venue in Manchester and the O2 Institute, Birmingham, in March.
“In the whirlwind of post Eurovision I had only about three accumulated weeks of time to write and produce new songs last year, which is far from enough to make the album I dream about.”.
And if I don’t make it my priority to make enough time for new music, it won’t have a chance to be great.
However, Nemo, who identifies as non-binary, said on Instagram: “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the rescheduling of my Europe Tour this year.
