The Wales midfielder, 34, has been jeered by Stoke fans ever since suffering a broken leg during a match played in the Potteries during his Arsenal days following a tackle by Ryan Shawcross.
He made his first appearance since suffering a hamstring injury last September in Saturday's topsy-turvy cup tie, which Cardiff won on penalties after initially blowing a two goal lead.
He was eventually able to get back playing for Arsenal and has since moved on to join Cardiff, though his time in the Welsh capital has been blighted by injuries.
Stoke fans were previously slammed for singing “Aaron Ramsey, he walks with a limp,” back in 2016.
