F1 icon Martin Brundle lets rip at 'd***' Elon Musk in foul-mouthed tirade

Martin Brundle has labelled Elon Musk a "globally interfering d***" in a savage blast at the outspoken billionaire. Since buying social media platform X - when it was known as Twitter -, Musk has become more involved in politics. He was very active during the US elections in endorsing Donald Trump and is set for a post in the businessman's government after he is sworn in as president later this month.
And, in recent days, Musk has turned his eye to the UK political scene. He has accused Prime Minister Keir Starmer of being "complicit" in child sexual exploitation and then turned his attention to Nigel Farage, who he asserted "doesn't have what it takes" to lead the Reform party - despite Musk having little, if any, knowledge of British politics and how it works.
Many users of Musk's social media platform had already grown exasperated long before his interest in British politics with thousands quitting for alternatives, such as BlueSky. And F1 favourite Brundle is the latest to consider making the switch. The Sky Sports pundit posted on X: "I'm conflicted. I like Twitter/X and it has served F1, Sky, me and people around me, very well for a good while. But @elonmusk is such a daily globally interfering dick I feel the need to go somewhere else.".
The post prompted many of Brundle's followers to say they felt the same, while others who have continued to stick with X begged for the former F1 racer not to leave. Fortunately for the latter group, the 65-year-old later posted again to confirm he is not yet planning to quit the platform.
