With contour, focus on adding dimension and enhancing shape rather than making things look really angular, which feels dated now.
Bright intense blush also looks passé, with colours that look a little more pared back working really well.
You don’t need to compensate with another feature, just lean into it being less defined and obvious.
So much of make-up now is about that sense of things not being overdone.
