Ferne McCann reveals family's reaction to Dancing On Ice as Charlie Brooks discusses joining as 'single woman'

Ferne McCann has shared her family’s reaction to her appearing on Dancing On Ice 2025. The reality star is strapping on her skates alongside Corrie star Sam Aston, EastEnders’ Charlie Brooks, TOWIE’s Dan Edgar, footballer Anton Ferdinand, Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey, and comedian Josh Jones.
They’ll be joined by The Traitors star Mollie Pearce, Olympic rower Steve Redgrave, Springwatch presenter Michaela Strachan, and Love Island's Chris Taylor. The celebrities will be performing their pirouettes in front of judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo, and Oti Mabuse when the ITV show returns on Sunday, January 12.
McCann - who is mum to daughters Sunday, seven, and Finty, one - said she has the full support of her family for her stint on the ice. "They are all so excited, we've got a WhatsApp group already!" the former TOWIE star. 34, said. "Dancing On Ice is a family show and my Grandad is 94 so he will definitely come down and watch me. Grandad Frank is going to be so proud, I think it will be a family affair,” she added.
"Whenever I commit to something I never do anything in halves. Whether I'm giving birth, training for SAS, or doing the school run, I'm fully committed to the cause. “I'm excited to get involved with the creative - I'm usually on the school run so I can't wait for the sequins! I think it's going to be a chance for me to let my hair down and really have some fun.".
